good unbiased shyt.....loma looking a little funny in the light.:patrice:

if he fights rigo....i might have to say he ducking walters....cause rigo wouldn't even bring in more money or ratings than walters.

donaire actually got 1.1 mil tv rating vs rigo n walters.....walters had 588k vs marriaga .....the highest rigo got by himself is 550k vs agbeko.......cant even find his rating vs amagasa.:skip:

I don't wanna say duck, but if he don't wanna fight Rigo at a 124 catchweight, with a 135 max rehydration clause, and no title on the line...he can surely fight Walters at the full 126 weight limit, with no rehydration clause, and no title on the line:manny:

Ball's in Team Loma's court:yeshrug:

I would prefer to see Loma-Rigo than Loma vs. anybody else, on the fact alone that they are two of the best technicians in the sport.

The catchweight is fine, I just am not a fan of rehydration clauses.

At this point havent given it much thought other than it is one of my most desired fights to see.

Last week Egis Klimas, the manager of WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko, expressed an interested in consummating a bout against Guillermo Rigondeaux , but made it clear that it would have to be at the featherweight limit - not a catch-weight contest.

There are statements from Rigondeaux's side that they have accepted the challenge for a fight at 124-pounds.

To which Klimas told BoxingScene.com on Monday afternoon - "There's no catch-weight. If they want to come up it would be 126. We are a champion of the featherweights which is 126 pounds. They want to compete with us, that has to be 126 pounds.

The Cuban southpaw holds the WBA and WBO belts at 122 pounds.

As for the 124 pound catch-weight, Klimas stated - "I have no idea where that came from. It was never mentioned by me. All the way it was 126."

Klimas, who also handles the career of light heavyweight king, Sergey Kovalev, is staunchly against the recent trend of catch-weights.

"(Rigondeaux) can be 124, I don't care,"he said."He can be 118 if he wants to but the rules are 126, it's the featherweight division."

This ain't a good look...especially when they're the ones who called out RiGOAT for a non-title bout, but are refusing to fight Walters who's staying at 126 in a non-title bout:francis:
