I wouldn't say overhyped, but I will say, unproven. For the record, I like the kid, like the way he carries himself. Respect the loyalty he has with his brothers, trainer, and the rest of his team. I respect that he appears to be willing to take on all comers. I can't take any of that away from him, but he still hasn't convinced me that he's that man just yet. To be fair, the bias I have towards him, is just recognizing the machinations behind his popularity. He's a good looking young man, a red headed Mexican which is an anomaly to most people. Mexicans passionately support their own, albeit at the expense of all reasoning. (look at any message board or comments on any article involving Floyd or when a Black fighter rumbles a Mexican) The other thing is, he's GB only major cash cow so far as we can tell post the Shaefer/Haymon situation. GB can't afford him losing or looking bad in anyway. So again, I have nothing against him, I'm just not convinced he's that dude.
