except that was the point, the teaching is literally trying to talk down a man for leaving his job to work for another company.
Its no different than if you are an exec at Burger King and you leave because you got a better offer to work at McDonalds corporate office.
Or leaving jet.com to work with Amazon.

You are competing against another team. You almost beat that team but choked. Instead of improving yourself, working hard, getting past the obstacle. Or even going to another team to try and beat that team....

You go directly to a record setting, champion team, that's already amazing without you, in order to not have to face them and use their system to get a ring the easiest way possible. And his contract he could have got was better. So he didn't leave for a better offer. He's still taking less every year to keep riding along

If you are in the same market you are competiting against another company, just like basketball teams compete against other teams.
There is literally no difference.
