First time I watched it I was like, damn this movie is ill, but I watched it again recently and i gotta co-sign this thread.

Every scene without Heath Ledger is just incredibly boring. Its so jarring to have such a great performance and great set ups for every one of his scenes but the rest of the film is so tame and unimpressive.

And that raspy batman voice is really annoying as fuk.

On some real shyt....I never felt TDK like mad cats do. shyt was straight to me, but not some classic/great film. Only watched it once. Most good movies can be watched over and over. I enjoyed other super hero/comic movies more than that one. Just so I won't come off as one of those "Damn you don't like anything" type of nikkas I'll list the reasons why

-movie was too damn long
-Batman's annoying ass voice
-the played out fire bomb terrorist shyt. They made Joker a pyromanic
-the fighting and action sequences are done poorly. I'm used to Batman straight whupping dudes, not struggling and grunting while tussling like some fukking mall cop. shyt was also too dark in some parts and you couldn't tell what was going on.
-the main bytch was ugly as fukk
- TwoFace given the Venom treatment. (thrown in at the end on some here you go type shyt)
-movie didn't know if it wanted to be a crime/drama or a superhero flick

I'm not shytting on it though. Out of 1-10, I give it a 7. I thought Batman Begins was better and I'm not even a big fan of that either. So in a sense you could say I think TDK is overrated. I felt the good things about the film didn't outweigh the bad points I brought up although I can see why dudes call it a great movie. The opening sequence was classic as fukk though, shyt's up there with X2.
