It's not showing black people anything that they didn't already know.

I understand where you're coming from with the rest of the post, but not here. I don't agree. I believe a lot of younger black folks(and even older ones) were naive about white supremacy. Others were afraid to talk about it. I feel these recent times has unified and empowered pro-black individuals to stand up, uplift and empower.

People I grew up with who never spoke on that stuff at all have become empowered, aware and motivated. This is first hand experience and I know it's not just me seeing this.

Act like the MEDIA wasn't trying to dehumanize Mike Brown and Travyon calling them thugs and posting pictures of them to suite their agenda.

Here's the thing, you arent wrong with that statement but that wasnt the point Q nor Kendrick was trying to make when they said "the media is trying to start a race war" when I saw that I took it as them saying theyre trying to start a race war simply by reporting the killings of black people as often as they do now and they were wrong about that.

Theres no agenda behind the news suddenly reporting about black people being killed by cacs and cops often, its simply that they have no choice due to how fast things spread through social media these days.. u think this shyt wasnt happening 10 years ago? It just wasnt reported nationally as much around that time because they didnt have to, there was no social media for them to get backlash for sweeping shyt under the rug like it is today so when they actually do report shyt they try to sway the publics opinion by trying to victimize the white murderers.

BUT.. Q's point was more of "nikkas get shot everyday b, shyt I just lost my homie last week.. why are these crooked cop/white supremacy victims so special for them to be covered so much on the news?" rather than "the media is trying to sway the sway the publics opinions about black victims"

we all know, it's just a lot of people ignore things that don't affect them on a personal level.

A lot of these young cats idea of actual "racism" is being stared at hard when they go into a store.
