they seriously need to look at Stanford's head coach.

Dude is staying at Stanford. He made some comments about getting calls from HS players that are real athlete (something they lack outside of a few positions) wanting to check out Stanford. He has a good Freshman QB too. He looks to be building something special there. He has the personality type to be an NFL coach though. If Chip Kelly leaves for the NFL and the way USC has been looking, Stanford has a chance to be the class of the Pac-12.

Why the hell would he leave the comforts of Birmingham - where he's in position to contend for championships for years to come and where he is literally regarded as a mayor-like figure - to take over a shytty team with a whiny fan base?

Matter of fact, why would he ever come back to the NFL at ALL after he LEFT it in the first place to RETURN to coach college?

Harbaugh Built That Program From A Team That Was Winning 2/3 Games A Year To A National Contender. Im Not Saying Shaw Isnt A Good Coach, But He Maintained A Winning Program, He Didnt Build It
