People kill me with the whole "KanYe made her". She sold more LP's than KanYe did after only 2 albums. What the Drama did do was increase the people already supporting to support her even more. Also just cause minorities and blacks didn't really know who she was, doesn't mean she wasn't known. Country music still sells millions of albums. The internet affected Hip Hop, RnB and Pop Sales but did not affect country artist. Country artist still be going multi-plat easy. If Ye is smart he will eventually do a track with her. Also as funny as what KanYe did it was wack he did it. So what if Beyonce video was better, Beyonce has how many damn awards? This was that chick's 1st award. The whole thing made Ye look bad and sadly White America latched on to it. I got love for Ye for life but he has done some lame sh!t in his career that I can't give a pass for, this was one of them.

If you didn't listen to her music or that type of music, chances are high that it was the first time you heard about her. Specially world wide, she could probably walk around in the streets in Europe and not get recognized.

Even though she moved records (in the states) like Adele and more than Gaga and Beyonce, she wasn't close to their level of fame.
Just like a lot of these other country artists, I'm sure not a single person on here knows how those Lady Antebellum people looks and they go multi every time.
