No they’re literally just taking the exaggerated claims of her father “owning” the label and creating a false narrative. The truth is her father was a very small 4% minority owner who wasn’t on the board of directors and really had no say in anything. In fact her father actually recused himself from the shareholder meeting where all the shareholders were being informed of the sale of the label because there was a NDA and he didn’t want to be forced to have to withhold information from his daughter.
