I've been wearing glasses most of my life and they sent me to prison at 17 years old, they coulda charged me as a juvenile (burglaries and stolen cars) but they charged me as an adult...only leniency they showed, was I signed a plea for 5 and the judge gave me 3½...

The summer I got locked up (2006) they were trying to hang a rape on me that I didn't know anything about, never was charged but they were investigating my involvement because I was "in the neighborhood". Guess what, I was wearing glasses...

I was still wearing glasses 5+ years later when I dodged a 2-4 that woulda sent me back Upstate but the DA and my probation officer blew the case with sloppy work, so I got off with a county 6 months (contempt of court), misdemeanor instead of felony assault and probation violation that woulda sent me back to prison. I was 23 and my PO said at my sentencing something pretty much to this extent: "have you seen this guy's record? He's 23 and has a record dating to 16 and because no one could get their shyt together this guy is getting 6 months?"

I wore glasses...

Two years later I was 25 and beat an attempted murder but had to take the rap for a felon in possession of firearm that was never recovered because it was either gamble with trial or get out on probation. Was told very explicitly: "this is it for you. You're a 3-striker after this and playing with life in prison, they already think you're wild dangerous"...

Wore glasses, and it burned them up that they couldn't nail me on those shooting charges, they even tried to get the Feds on me in a murder implication in another state and a gun trafficking case...

Not for nothing but if they think you're a problem they will exhaust everything they can to nail your dikk to the wall...
