I think putting faith in Kawhi coming back and being healthy enough to have a prolonged run in the playoffs is wishful thinking at this point.

I tend to believe it's a Todd Gurley situation with that knee, he's gotta have some form of arthritis. They said there was no structural damage so they aren't sure where the swelling is coming from - after the tendinopathy to the torn ACL to the torn meniscus, I think there's just too much damaged done and any contribution from Kawhi has to be viewed as a bonus

Mavericks roster is full of unidimensional players lol. Primary Scorers that can’t play a lick of defense and defenders who provide zero offense of their own (playmaking shooting scoring)

zero two way versatile players on that squad.

He went to Zubac at the beginning of the game to establish the post game early. Then all the Mavs had to give him attention, it opened up the 3's. Now in Game 2 if they dare gameplan for him, it leaves PG and Harden open on the perimeter. It's mind boggling how majority of the modern NBA does not use the post up game that often
