He's not a black nationalist(in the sense of wanting a nation for FBAs, and also constantly distances himself from any leadership role). He is simply a black nativist. However, the problem with being a black nativist, in the US, is that most nativist policies have the main goal of empowering the white majority, consolidating their power to levels seen in the past(when they were around 90% of of the total population), and dis-empowering people like you. Also, Tariq knows damn well that it is pointless to go after white immigrants because whites(same ones dictating the agendas he follows and promotes) prefer getting more whites than non-whites.
Black nativists, black free-thinkers or even black tradition-returners, always have the same thing in common, and that is the fact that they just repeat or follow whatever whites say while trying their hardest to convince themselves and others that they think the way they think without any major white influence. Problem is, once you carefully pay attention, you will start noticing that millions of black people are now functional zombies due to years of media propaganda. So there is no way they are just repeating white nonsense due to coincidence. We are talking about black people who work, study, have/had amazing grades, amazing CVs, many professional recommendations, practice sports, travel etc but most of what they think or value are things they were programmed to do so. And some of them are our family members and close friends.
PS: Even the way Tariq flip flops around his initial logic is also a copy of the traditional Cac flip floppping...
For example:
Cacs in the past -> Blacks are neanderthals. Not humans.
Cacs years later -> Yeah, we whites are neanderthals. So what? Neanderthals were super smart, and smarter than modern humans.
Tariq in the past -> Almost all of black Trump supporters are immigrants.
Tariq years later -> Yeah, I support Trump. So what? Nearly all of the black people crying about Kamala's loss are immigrants, not FBA.
