Understand crime wasnt just blacks folks problem. Cacs/Asians/Messicans who worked inner cities were getting robbed, killed and were shook. Cacs got ran out the cities. Democrats were getting bodied in elections because they werent "tough on crime". HIV spread was being linked to drugs and prostitution (products of crime). Literally hundreds upon hundreds of people were getting killed yearly in cities like DC, New Orleans, LA, NYC, Chicago, Baltimore, Camden, East St. Louis, etc.

Even "chill West Coast cities" like the Cities of the East Bay, Tacoma, Seattle, Denver, and Portland experienced their worst stretches of violent crime in the late 80s to mid 90s.

It was an epidemic that had stretched to every major city in the nation.

My point is to solely hammer Biden and the Democrats (remember, not a sole fukking Republican fought that shyt either) solely for it is at best ignorant and at worst a disingenuous take that doesnt take the whole situation into context.
