Video is dated (not in a good way) and the song is mediocre. Strange looking extras. As someone else noted, the lyrics are just terrible :mjlol:. Admirable effort.

Let me guess, it’s okay because he’s not a leader despite saying he just needs 300 people to follow him, accepting donations for something called “melanoid minastries” and telling black folks what they need to be doing every week.

What do you people think that black empowerment is all about? I’m seeing people with the passive aggressive hate but no valid criticisms.
how did I miss this post.
:jbhmm:You don't say...

Ignoring my question breh? ohh I got some time this morning:mjgrin:

Let’s be clear, black people aren’t supposed to call out racism and perpetuate black empowerment because tariq said so. We are supposed to do that because it’s the right thing to do.

really?...

Nobody forced her to put herself out here like this. She’s responsible for it all. Netflix hasn’t said shyt. I wish that she would sit down somewhere and shut up because she’s insulting black people’s intelligence(not yours because you’re stupid enough to fall for it) and just playing herself.

Willing to throw other black people under the bus and manipulate them emotionally. fukk her.

The issue is with her trying to emotionally manipulate blacks into supporting her and her selfish cause.

We need to call people like out on their bullshyt. We talk this code shyt but the sad reality is that not enough of us are smart enough to even understand what the code is or should be. This is why I’ve been telling you that this is not an issue of Netflix vs black people despite Mo’Nique tryna paint it that way. “Yea Mo’Nique is just trying to use us but we shouldn’t say anything about it”. She’s playing your stupid ass.

Here’s some more harsh truths. This is also an example of how SOME black women will throw black men under the bus for personal gain crying wolf about black male privilege. Monique claiming that rock and chappelle only get more money because they’re men is a very disrespectful lie. She’s basically discrediting their talent and decades of hard work just so she can play victim. This is why we say that generally speaking, black women are not loyal.

It’s tough love, not hate:manny:

This is why it’s important to on call her out. She’s using black people trying to exploit our plight for her own selfish gain. No chic, we aren’t falling for it. Not all of us anyway.
:sas2:
look who's defending Tariq
Unlike your claims of Monique's self serving actions, we actually got proof of Tariq saying you are a koon and white supremacist if you don't like this corny shyt
Are you going to label this as self serving OR cape cause you're a fan?

I knew that Monique situation was going to further expose you fake emotional "Black empowerment" scammers

When has dude not been about his brand? What do you people think that black empowerment is all about? I’m seeing people with the passive aggressive hate but no valid criticisms.
I know what black empowerment is, and nothing I said was passive aggressive, don't understand that comment.

Yes he can do what he wants, but all I'm saying is he gets heated when people call him a leader because he wants to be able to go from talking about white supremacy to doing something like this.

Is this music video "sattire" and will he denounce it as such like he did his old Mack books the next time he's on fox?

Again I been a supporter of his, I just don't think he can continually on a weekly basis ask for money, but then say "don't follow me, Im not your role model or leader of your people but give me your money" That's called finessing......

His izm show is now geared toward interviewing celebs, he wants to create his multimedia base and it's noting wrong with that, I support it but call it what it is...

Everything that you’re saying is passive aggressive. You’re on some “yea I support him and he can do what he wants to do but......” shyt, and there’s no valid criticisms after the “but”. You keep saying “call it what it is” but when hasn’t he called it what it was? When has he denied trying to establish a multi-media base/platform? I’ve asked the people who say “this is inconsistent with the black empowerment rhetoric” over and over to explain the contradiction and I haven’t seen a explanation yet.

Y’all are making the cases for rejecting the leader label for him. It’s like you’re frustrated that you can’t use that against him.

“Will he call this satire if his detractors like Fox News try to use this against him?” Maybe, and I wouldn’t blame him. Again, anybody who uses this to try and discredit him and his anti-white supremacy pro-black empowerment ideology is a troll who deserves to be trolled back.

Another bone I’ve got to pick with the passive aggressive c00ns. Why do you hold blacks to a different standard than whites? You can’t surf the web without being bombarded with ads tryna sell you something from white corporate America. You can’t turn on the television or listen to the radio without being bombarded with ads. None of you have a problem with whites overloading you with ads and commercials tryna sell you shyt, yet when it’s a black person tryna sell you something it’s a problem. I think y’all need to some introspection on why that is.
