As an american, you have heard worse. You are just being picky just to be a dikk. :hhh:

No bytch, as an avid music listener I am giving my opinion on the shytty song writing. As an American? WTF does that have to do with it? Even the genre that he poorly emulated has better writing than what he put out........:camby:

How does this negate what he is trying to achieve in any way?

It is clear that when Tariq goes on the shows
he goes on he is looking to be taken serious. He has discussion points he would like to convey and I am sure he doesn’t appreciate been written of as a clown or a “race hustler” as his commonly referred to by his detractors. Well this image is a far cry from Tariq Nasheed the producer, radio show host and filmmaker.

Anybody(like you) who uses this to undermine or dismiss his views was already looking for an excuse to undermine and dismiss his views. Let’s be clear, black people aren’t supposed to call out racism and perpetuate black empowerment because tariq said so. We are supposed to do that because it’s the right thing to do.

No not like me and dont assume and lump me in a group. I actually like Tariq and root for him but am also able to be objective when I think his moving in the wrong direction.

Tucker was trying to use his “macking books” as an ad hominem deflection on some troll shyt. He was simply trolling the troll. We know that he still stands by the macking books because he still promotes them.

Of course he was going to try and use whatever he could use against Tariq in order to discredit him. You say Tariq was “trolling” back which isn’t the case. He was clearly embarrassed by that and in that moment sort to distance himself from his past by claiming it was all satire. The smarter thing would have been to own his past and continue the convo henceforth highlighting that he wasn’t embarrassed or ashamed of his past as a advisor of “macking”.

Nobody is above being roasted. People are obviously going to roast him over this, that’s a given. Should being roasted stop him from doing something that he wants to do?

No it shouldnt but the fact he has already brought out the labels (c00ns and white supremist) for any criticisers is telling in himself that he does not want to get roasted and in truth realizes how it looks.

I just don’t understand the hate whether it’s passive aggressive like you’re doing or outright. You don’t have to like it but there are no need to reach just to hate. You know good and well that tariq has never said that blacks shouldn’t sing and dance. His argument is that there are times and places that we shouldn’t be singing and dancing. Singing and dancing during a natural disaster or a protest against police terrorism is what he’s spoken out against. Come on man, don’t be a sucker just to be a sucker.

Passive aggressive hate? Reaching? Give me an example where I am reaching. I have watched Tariq for years now and know if any of his peers was to engage in something like this it would be used against them in a negative. You seem to be jumping around with assumptions, I actually don’t hate the song I just think it’s ill advised for Tariq to do something like this.

All jokes aside, like someone said in another thread, Tariq don't do something unless there's a bag at the end of it. He sees basic funk tracks doing numbers in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean and he wants in.
