Are some of yall watching the same show as me, I mean it's been a bit over 24 hours since I watched it but I recall Tariq called him. Further proof that Tariq was just trying to low key clown him. But we all know Tariq does this bytchmade shyt all the time and I agree that it reeks of childishness. I know he just trying to gain followers and maintain the fan base but he needs to chill on the bullshyt.

tariq took a gamble on lou

Where was the gamble though? Tariq got half up front, and his transportation costs were more than likely compensated to a degree..... so how is Tariq taking a gamble...... especially since he got the rest of his bread right after he touched down

The part where he said he should be more like his lady made me :weirdo: Because he is the main one preaching that you shouldn't follow your ladies lead, just accept and respect her input. Him saying it like that was an insult not constructive criticism and Tariq knows that.

its the reason he carried on with the convo after blacking hung up. he still felt he had to get his point across, which shouldn't be the purpose in the first place.

but this is part of Tariq's style so you get all of that with him. He's got to keep the attention of his listeners first & foremost & clowning is part of that.

it's not about the money, it's about the quality of his lectures/venues. tariq wont have a fanbase willing to cough up 66 a seat, if it's always some low rate janky shyt.

I can respect Tariq for giving constructive criticism. Maybe he did it publicly to help other promoters or lecturers in black kings positions. Part of me does feel like he could have had this conversation on the phone with him in private, but if other people were affected by it then I understand publicly speaking about it,

I have given my input on Tariq, and I have for a long time called out his bullshyt, contradictions, and ego. When I called them out on it was, blackking and others who interjected to call me a hater.
Now the same person these dudes exhalt and glorify end up clowning these ninjas like fools. This is why I think these dudes are blind and support their own demise.

Tariq mentions, I like nice dressing rooms, nice stage and nice seatings.SMH The nikka doesn't realize he is dealing with conscious community and is grassroots many of it is in the hood,so what do you expect?Tariq already called the conscious community broke, so what does he expect if thats what they are to him?!But thats what puzzles me, Tariq would ask for support from these same dudes yet he still disrespects many individuals in it.Vice Versa, the conscious Community has heard Tariq make smart remarks about them but they still attend and support his events.lol .

Anybody notices how Tariq licks his lip when he says ''Lou I want you to call in''? lol

Nah man.. aint no gamble when he got half his money up front, and the other half when he touched down.... where was the gamble in that...??

Again its not all about the money. The gamble is in the quality of the event given to the people who purchased tickets. Everyone was well accommodated in the Atlanta and Philly lectures with less confusion and a nicer venue. The promoters weren't late and people werent in cramped uncomfortable seats like with Lou's event. If good event hosting can be done in those places it can be done in the Detroit area also.
