It's a very bad comparison. Nigerian-Americans are a self-selected group of immigrants who came to the united States as professionals or for the purpose of education. They represent a brain drain of Nigeria. Comparing them to AA's is very disingenuous. Most foreign immigrants in America are usually the cream of the crop of their home countries since you can't just waltz into the US without fulfilling certain requirements (refugees and illegal immigrants such as Mexicans do not count).

This is not true. Nigeria doesn't have a brain drain. They have a resource drain. Not in terms of natural resources but in terms of financial resources. If you are not directly connected with the government, it's extremely difficult to make money in Nigeria.

Outside of Refugees or Finessing a vacation visa Africans are literally vetted before they can get to come to America which is why AAs tend to come into contact with Africans who think along the same lines of "conservative" AAs.

So true, truth is, most Africans don't understand what's going on in America till they live here for over 20 years. At first, they do look at Blacks like damn, what's wrong with you. After 20 years, they get it. They seen it. They have experienced it. America is the HEART of white supremacy. Blacks here have been on the front-line for over 500 years. These nikkas is tired. While white supremacy is everywhere, it's not like it is here. First thing Africans do when they leave America is tell everybody how racist America is. Everybody.

I had a convo with a friend of mines. Dude is one of the smartest fellas I know. He travels, extremely well read and what not. This dude said Black people are old, we have amnesia. The problem with CTG is that he lacks the formal education and thus the references to throw into conversations.

CTG makes a lot of basic layman arguments which are fairly accurate, but Schulz thinks he can just brush them off because he has a degree and therefore anything CTG says is "inferior" to him.

Thats why Tariq got annoyed at the end and called out Schulz trying to pretend to be high-minded with his multi-syllabic language and pseudo-academic filibustering. Tariq was like "oh yeah, I didn't go to college, please break it down for me, I don't understand..." he was trolling Schulz cause he knows Schulz thinks he's better than people for going to college.

A lot of Africans who came on student Visas was driving Taxis with masters degrees in the 90's. shyt was a shame. The whole reasons why there is so many African professors is because that was one of the only areas they were hiring Africans. Africans had it worse than even everyday Blacks and that was with more education. White folks used to say they can't understand the accent. They came from the jungle, how smart can he be. It was the 1st gen that changed the perception but the 1st gen going through their own hell. This is the paradigm that few talk about. @Hiphoplives4eva knows.

Damn near every 1st generation African I went to school with had parents who were barely getting by because they simply couldn't find work when they got here. They all had insane degrees.

In the same breath its like how AAs look at Africans and say "how yall let these folks run yall countries".

At the end of the day we all are victims to systematic white supremacy but the devil works differently in every atmosphere which is what causes internal confusion.

Like to an African they can here AAs talk about how they are the most influential people on earth but the African is wondering if thats the case why are AAs suffering?

We have to all take a step back an view white supremacy from the Macro view and all agree our issues stem from the same beast. This is why i dont believe in blacks of one country running to another country outside of civil war situations. Only blacks in that nation can solve the issues in their nation but at a whole level we all gotta have each others backs when needed. Thats why the NOI did not allow non AAs to join because AAs simply dont understand the situation of a Latin American black for example so how can they fix fheir issue?

I think the children of immigrants however must serve as liasons between blacks around the world because they are the only ones who have somewhat insight on what happens on both sides.
