This isn’t much different than BLM. He’s produced DVDs. BLM produced products as well (t-shirts, funded documentaries, etc). They collected a lot more money and should have done much more with it, but they do have tangible projects.

Creating a documentary is much different than building a museum from the ground up. One doesn’t require sustainable funding, the other one does. Collecting 1.2 million from the people and then saying your next project is another R&B album is pretty irresponsible and just flat out goofy. He’s been less transparent than Dr. Umar but no one wants to bring that up
