What’s self-evident? That there was some kind of mass organized systemic plan implemented to rape Black male slaves as a means of social order?

I’ve never seen any evidence of that. I’m sure male slaves were raped cause sexual exploitation/assault/rape will always occur where you have large populations who are powerless being subjugated by others who have power over them.

But as far as being there former, I’ve never seen or heard any historical evidence or claim of that.
Not only that. but I don't know how that would motivate you to work harder. I remember years ago he said one of the reasons why Jamaicans are so against homosexuality was because they were raped.

There was waaaaaaaaay more Black people than white people in Jamaica so how could they systematically rape men, Men who worked hard in sugar factories all day?

And even if they did why would that "break" them? If you get raped does that make you gay? When ADOS slaves were asked what made them runaway They said it was usually family separations.

I'd assume that even in slavery there had to be a limit. I mean at the end of the day they were still men. I can't see any man being ok with being raped especially in front of my family.

I'm still waiting on my copy to come in the mail. I also understand why he released this by dvd FIRST and not streaming right away.

He didn't publicly say it but its obvious a lot of people don't like him, especially making a documentary like this. So he(Tariq) knows when streams are added in, people will bootleg the shyt of this project just to try to mess up his money. So he's trying to maximize his profit by making sure he can get the most sales in before its eventually is flooded on torrent sites and things of that nature.

Erkiel speaks on playing Mrytle Erkiel #Buckbreaking smh. Sickos

embarrassing.

He was just a kid trying to be “funny” and get that check and probably didn’t know about the “legacy” of the dress shyt but his people should’ve stepped in and put a stop to it.

You just know that no one wanted the gravy train to stop because Urkel basically saved the show.

him talking about how Carl and Harriet feeling some type of way is literally the 90s version of Esther Rolle and John Amos feeling some kinda way about Jimmy Walker buck dancing with that Dyn-o-mite shyt on Good Times. The background BS with Jimmy Walker is what messed up the show.

Urkel was an upgraded Jimmy Walker with glasses and those showrunners wanted to see how far they could take it. And Jaleel might have cried his eyes out but I could’ve sworn he put on the dress after that.

No shyt...He's independent....These nikkas are stupid:skip:

Physical copies will always be where the $ is at. Just like the record industry in the 90s when they were charging extortion prices for CDs that cost “nothing” to make.

I remember double albums coming out and being damn near $25+ tax for the 2 discs when the total manufacturing and distribution cost was prolly $4 because it was in bulk. A lot of people got rich in the 90s so you already know these labels felt some kinda way when CD burners became a “thing”

And for the cats who were real music heads, you had no issue buying maxi-singles just so you could get a lil remix and instrumental.
