Bottom line: I dont trust any brotha who exhibits white-adjacent conservative principles. That does not mean one sniffs the asscrack of DNC “liberals” but he is literally going to bat for a seditionist who currently has the country near a constitutional crisis. I think Biden sucks as a candidate, president, and because he chose Kamala as his running mate, he put the presidency at risk in 2024 to go back to Trump. The GOP still aligns to him and if he's still alive, he'll run again.
That being said, if Tariq was politically savvy he would argue we can't let the house fall down by letting Trump and the like win the presidency again. Trump already fukked us for many years to come with all the judges he appointed. Tariq should be recommending who to vote for locally and nationally, while still keeping the house intact. Then when you have all those chess pieces in place, then go for the presidency.
No one serious about change would say don't vote. That's some straight up nutass, bytchmade shyt to say, knowing what the stakes are with Trump in office. This ain't Bob Dole or Mitt Romney running, Trump actively is aligning himself with White Nationalists and as more info is coming out, was making a serious attempt at ratcheting up to a true coup...this shyt is not a game anymore.
If he's alive in 2024, he will run, and he may not win...but he's going to pull this same stunt again about the election being stolen. And this time, I guarantee you, he'll indirectly signal for more of his folks to be in town, just in case he loses.
