I know I am late but good shyt on him for making this, have not been following him as much these days. But he always provided good shyt for us.

fukk your opinion. Nobody on the planet cares about the opinion of Whatever ethnicity you're supposed to be and nobody wants to be like you or suck from your culture.
Tariq may be a little goofy with it.... but that flow of thinking actually does represent FBAs.
Decades of experience with non FBAs being on some funny style shyt. Certain ethnicities have treated black Americans as less than them, some have tried to separate themselves throughout the 80s and 90s and 2000s... others dont even identify with fba issues.. the majority are just like Asians and some Hispanic groups- they want the beneficial labels and none of the stigma. They want the media roles but not the American exp.

The issue is that other nationalities of black folk don't respect FBAs as a tribe... so every time we think or say something that ALL Brown and black ethnic groups do for their own- its looked at as divisive.
The other groups want to suck up and use our pop culture influence collateral, without being identified with the black American stigma.
