I’m honestly kinda annoyed democrats even pretend to care about reparations because it hold an emotional chord with black voters. It’s not gonna happen outside of an exercise in black history and trying to make connections to the legacies of present day disparities. I understand the desperation but its a bad look.
Tariq on the other hand doesn’t care because he knows reparations wont happen but he’s using it as away of sticking it in democrats faces while he appeals to republicans out of contrarian dejection and disaffection.
