On the issue of colorism yes there’s an issue amongst black Americans like me.
However, it is not as deeply instilled into black American culture as it is in mini Caribbean countries especially Latin countries. This is a fact.

Understand this; In a system of white supremacy all Black people are victims of racism. All of us whether we are millionaires or homeless we have to face the indignities of being treated as if we are not fully human because of the color of our skin. That makes you a Victim of racism.
