I also wanted to point out cuz I ducked the other thread:

When the labor unions were forming, white factory workers went on strike. Instead of giving in to the demands of the white labor forces, factory owners opted to temporarily enlist Black workers at cheaper rates to continue production. Those Black workers were referred to as SCABS

Fukk this bicht! :pacspit:

I'm not with attacking and blaming 'other' black people but this bytch chiming in shows the necessity of an FBA/ADOS type group to represent without being drowned out by people who don't really understand our struggle or needs. He shouldn't have even debated that c*nt TBH, there is no debate to be had, only a push for solidarity.

You know these non black bytches get offended ANYTIME that black women get spotlight.
Indeed.

It's like they can't let black women have their moment without wanting to take the Shine from them even when the situation is not positive like extrajudicial killings from police.

:skip:Negged. I just quoted lupita saying her Kenyan hairdresser didn't even know what to do with her shyt bc they didn't learn how to do natural hair in school. IN KENYA. She didn't even know what traditional hairstyles looked like until she found photos taken by damn nazi.

I was on the hairboards in 2007. The current natural hair movement, AS ALWAYS, was started by ados women.

For anybody keeping score, that's two sources ive provided now to his zero. :coffee:

Are you trying to say that african women started wearing their hair naturally/styling it the way they do because of afram women ? :skip:

You do know hair processing is relatively new to africa right? How do you think women were styling their hair prior to colonialism

:mjlol: Im not telling you shyt. Lupita is telling you.

I’d been going to the same hairstylist for years – he was a Kenyan, like me, and when I went natural, he didn’t know what to do with it.

...You look at beautiful traditional hairdos from pre-colonial and colonial times and they have been erased from so much of our contemporary expression

:francis: Apparently, y'all let the white man do you out of your own hairstyles.

Because one kenyan chick represents the entire continent right ?:rudy:

"bantu" knots, "fulani" braids, "senegalese" twists. The name of the hairstyles are literally telling you the origin but apparently african women got it from ados women :dead:

You couldnt have inspired the natural hair movement among African women when they had no choice but to wear it naturally smh.

She fukking flamed Tariq :dead:

Tariq said "FBA were choosen to come here" :laff:

Tariq said "This is our land and we were born here"

Tariq sounds like a fukking white supremacist. Talking about this is our land, we were born here. This is our country. :dead:

Tariq bragging about his sold-out FBA. :laff:

So, what was the point of it? What was the agenda? What is the action Tariq gonna take to push FBA goals?

Oh, I guess, buy the new DVD and learn from there, right?

Anyway, 2 crazy ass people fighting. Tariq sounded weak as fukk.

Tariq cannot debate for shyt. She made much better points.
This ..... I dno why people in here caping for tariq ... he’s the worse debater of all time .... all he does is bring up white supremacy he did the same thing with Jared Taylor ... Jared made tariq look like a 10 year old lmao ...... she made good points about tariq insulting other black folk aswell he’s always clowning certain black women about something and calling people crispy n shyt cause they are dark .... all tariqs arguments go out the window wen u find out he had a white mother -inlaw he’s literally talking about his extended family yet talking about white supremacy this n that .... and yeah u right she totally owned him wen he said fba are the original people of this land lol ...

Third source. I can do this all day, you know. :coffee:

It is extremely rare to see a woman in Burkina Faso elect to wear her hair natural. From the age of a couple of months old a girl’s hair is either coiffed, in a state of being coiffed, or in the uncomfortable middle ground between coifs. By the time most Burkinabe girls hit 15, their hair line is already starting to recede...

I am particularly interested in the question of hair because Burkina Faso is not unique in its hesitancy to embrace natural locks. Despite the recent trend in the United States for black women to cut off their treated hair, a quick look at popular culture will tell you the Americans aren’t loving natural black hair either.

Ados fam, y'all see even she couldn't resist the little slick shyt in the last sentence. Gave us the obviously rightful credit but then tried to add the qualifiers. :sas2:

That’s his hustle...engage with the low hanging fruit so he can seem more intelligent and “win” a debate.
Wen he debated someone with a bit more intelligence reguardless if you believe what he was saying he looks like a dam idiot Jared Taylor ran circles around tariq and all tariq could say to every question was his infamous “ white supremacy”

U been to africa breh ? You go to the rural parts of most countries where women have less accessibility to western products and they're wearing their hair naturally. We know many african women process their hair now but saying they got wearing their hair naturally from ADOS women is laughable breh:russ:

Hairstyling has always been very important to african women. Its more than a style and used to signify tribal/ethnic affiliation.

But you coming to tell african women bout natural hair :mjlol:

Do you know what kills me is that she is a Nuyorkrican that grew up in the tri-state. She grew up with Black people or whole life I think she may even have a child with a black guy. And this is how she thinks about us. How Black people be so blind I do not know.
This is how a lot non black single mothers with half black children think
