It wasn't the Zulu Nation awards nor was it the Black only awards. Its The Hip Hop awards where there are a bunch of races in Hip Hop.

At the end of the day....The Hip Hop awards committee has placed Joe as the host for the past 3 years straight because they felt he was the right man for the job. Obviously he is doing something right to be brought back 3 times in a row. Joe is also a producer for the show. Now this is where the bullshyt stops because as a producer, it's more about the development of the show not skin color. Joe is too entrenched in the culture to not be the right man for the job based on ethnicity. You are basically saying his skin color should disqualify him from being involved in the behind the scenes make up of a Hip Hop award show because the name of the TV station (which isn't even Black owned anymore) has the word "Black" in the beginning of it. Now if you wanna stand on that argument, you can do so....But I say you are wrong because as I already pointed out, Hip Hop itself is colorless and the award show is a Hip Hop award show.


Let me also add that Tariq had zero issues when DJ Khalid was hosting the BET Hip Hop awards show 2 years in a row in the mid 2010's because he wasn't doing the diaspora war thing. Tariq only had issues with non Blacks hosting it when he was in the middle of his personal diaspora war...Go figure.

I already pointed out that Tariq has selective outrage. Charleston White took a "direct shot" at FBA's and Tariq was never "on his bumper" because it didn't fit Tariqs narrative of his personal diaspora war.

Marucs may not be his first name, but his last name is definitely Sanders and there's multiple receipts out there to prove it.
