I have it on good measure (guesswork) that Francis Crick did most of the work. And hardly any of them (Maurice, Crick, and Rosalind) particularly liked Watson.

Charles Murray's book lacked academic rigor and made BASIC algebraic errors in the lazily written, poorly researched, and questionable infamous book "The Bell Curve".
