This isn't Hollywood where a DNA test is done in 30 minutes. Toxicology reports can take weeks.
I work in the lab, your just regurgitating what the media tells you. Toxicology test do not take weeks, when you interview for job and have to take a drug screen before you are accepted for the job, do the test takes weeks. The answer is no. Yes there are different protocols with high positioned individuals in which you have to take tissue samples from the body, but his body was cremated.
With testing you may have false positives and false negative test results, which means you have to go back and gather more tissue, blood and etc. from the body. Since the body is already cremated, that means the test results are conclusive.
They say it may take weeks because of false positives and false negatives, but in the lab, I know, when you have high priority or high profile individuals, you stop what your doing to analyze those test results.
Also test results may take weeks, if the family decides to hire a private toxicology investigator, to make sure the govt. appointed toxicology investigator is not covering up information
A report that involves cause of death, and includes testing of hair, blood, organs, etc. is a little more involved than a piss/saliva test on 5 or 10 druga to ensure employment
How long does it take get forensic toxicology test results?
Many popular “crime scene investigation” television programs are able to complete toxicology reports in a very short (and unrealistic) time frame. [However, in reality, while an autopsy is usually completed within a day or two after a death, the final results of the toxicology report may take four to six weeks or longer.
Many factors play into the length of time needed to gather forensic toxicology test results, including:
Additionally, once toxicology results are available, there is an internal review process for quality control, and experts such as board-certified pathologists and toxicologists may be consulted. The final toxicology report may incorporate other information, such as field evidence at the scene of the crime, or the possibility of fatal drug interactions, to determine the cause of death. Finally, before the results of the toxicology test and cause of death can be made public, the family must be notified.1
- the need for confirmatory testing
- the complexity of and the number of specific tests required
- case workload and staffing at the testing laboratory
Toxicology Tests - Athletic, Forensic/Postmortum & Workplace Testing
I just told you that I work in the lab.
Remember the keyword is "May", it "May" take 4 to 6 week, it's not certain, test results can be completed before that. Just like when a woman is pregnant, they say 40 weeks, but some women have the baby before 40 weeks
Like I said your just regurgitating information you heard from others with no experience.
Tariq was also embellishing the truth about someone attempting to legitimately contest David Bowie's will & trying get a hold of the estate from his wife Iman.
So I say it can take weeks, you say it may take weeks, and every "non-media" link says the same thing...so what exactly are you arguing?
None of that says anything about someone legitimately contesting the will.
But you made it seem like Tariq was making stuff up out of thin air.
And there are reports that people do feel some sort of way about Iman getting Bowie's money
