So no one is gonna actually address the question and instead just hurl insults? What do you think the average 9-5 black person says if you ask them this question.
the problem isn't the question itself but the motive behind the person asking

I'm the same way. Ever since I've followed him the Don't Vote campaign is the biggest blunder I've ever seen him partake in.Republicans must love seeing messages like this ...

and you deflected which is expectedAny black person who tries to discourage other black people from voting is .
Any nicca who comes in here defending him is trash too.
No. I believe we live in a simulation. The world looks flat to us. The pictures of the globe earth are fakes done by the elites who run this world who don't want people to know the truth about our world being a simulation.
You ever seen the movie "The 13th Floor"?
Watch it. Its tells the truth about our world. There is a great scene in that movie when the character reaches the limit of the "world" he is in and realizes its a simulation. I'm guessing we've already reached the limits of this simulation and the elites are hiding it from the rest of us so they created this globe earth mythology to keep people from trying to find it out.

Has he ever laid out a coherent argument for not voting or why he personally doesn't vote?
Well.. I somewhat agree with your statement but it's a two way street... The first few comments of this thread with different posters bashing Tariq are people who just hate him and can't get past the messenger to understand the message...My take is that Tariq isn’t against voting. He actually encourages local voting. He’s against how we as black people collectively approach voting. While other groups vote for power, most of us vote for acknowledgement (white acceptance). The relationship between the Democratic Party and black society isn’t equitable. They hold over our heads the “benefits” they’ve given us without acknowledging they wouldn’t have a viable party without the unconditional support from black society. It’s not an equitable relationship.
If we as black people collectively and strategically decided we’re sitting out an election cycle, they’d have to offer us (black people, not “minorities”) more systematic tangibles. Malcolm X said the same thing btw.
Its not really a fair shake. One party completely doesn't give a shyt about Black people and have cosigned fukkery to Blacks, especially BM.One party supports gerrymandering, voter suppression while not really supporting civil rights, equality and criminal justice reform. That should be more than enough to vote against that party.
When will our basic values rise above policy differences?
