You’re all over the place, I was talking about Yvette with the last Malcolm X quote but if you agree with her self hate it applies to you as well, you are ADOS, yes and those slaves and your ancestors were Africans, so hating on a ADOS choosing to explore and be proud of that side is his history is literally hating yourself.... Word to the man who coined the phrase in the first place!! Erm woman, Jamaicans can say they’re Jamaican as much as they want but the moment you start denouncing and ridiculing someone for playing up their African heritage that’s something else, from Rastafarianism to Nanny Maroon, Marcus Garvey Bob Marley a large great deal of the culture is based around being proud of your roots, so a Jamaican can be proud of being a Jamaican while also being proud of being an African descendant too, that’s all, it’s not a big deal or something that is unique to ADOS, not one bit.

Im not lying about South Africa I’m well aware of the xenophobia to Nigerians in particular, I’m not sure that same xenophobia would be applicable to AA’s maybe you should go there yourself and see?

And I agree with the rest of what you say that’s why I don’t get angry with the majority of Tariq says, a lot of 1st gen and 2nd gen Africans are c00ns, and they need to get on code, damn right, as do a large number of ADOS also, for example like I said Michael B Jordan doesn’t seem to be on code more than Boyega is?
This is not to say all, but some diasporans tend to have a problem with American black folks being proud of being American but if a Jamaican waves their flags they are praised for it. South Africans can be xenophobic towards any outsiders (haven’t seen them do it towards non blacks though). Michael B Jordan been putting in work, he moves in silence. He was protesting, he just didn’t make a big deal out of it by crying on a mic claiming he might not ever get booked after it (knowing right now not supporting BLM will get you backlash) You ain’t gotta be a performative activist, you can do shyt in silence.

I think that may be down to a couple things, the American flag is synonymous with white supremacy, the Jamaican flag not quite, people have to remember that Jamaica is a country that is 95% black, the dynamics therefore are more akin to certain African countries, so I think that’s where some of the perceived raised eyebrows come from.

Also when people go to foreign lands they draw back to something of where they came from, if for example a wave of Black Americans were to emigrate to a foreign land you’d see more of these people play up their ‘Americaness’ in this foreign land and they wouldn’t be wrong, this is what immigrants do.

And I was talking more about the black women comment in regards to John Boyega, he implicitly said he preferred black women mostly and only, I haven’t seen an actor be so brazen with his blackness since Denzel and his whole comments about not kissing Julia Roberts because it might alienate his black female fanbase.

Regardless, America was built by black Americans so if we wanna be proud of our roots we can. Plenty “immigrants” wave the flag proud once they become citizens so I sense that it might be a bit of jealousy.

Personally I’m not interested in knowing the preferences of black public figures as it does nothing for me. The rumor about MBJ went crazy cause his fans thought they somehow had a chance with him, same with the rumors about white actors liking black women and some black women propping them up.

There's nothing wrong with exploring one's identity. The problem arises when one overlooks the very real issues of ados at home to fixate on Africa. It's a form of avoidance. Avoidance of the real issue, white supremacy, bc Africa fukked up too.

Yes, there are ados not on code. I been on code my whole life, calling them (and wp) out. We handle them by shaming them publicly as c00ns, ie Jesse Lee peterson, candace owens, omarosa, kanye, etc (1/2 of that list is at least half foreign btw). If foreigns refuse to shame their c00ns, it's left to us, and then we look like the a$$holes. :beli: If y'all handled them, we wouldn't have to.

Lastly, ados recognizes that we're African descendants. Don't start with the dumb shyt. The whole point is re affirming our own sense of self worth. Who could have problem with that??? You, apparently. :mjpls:

One truth don't equal a falsehood. Who's stopping Black folks from waving any flag of their choosing? No one. Just because a lot of people think ados is a white supremacist front doesn't mean they don't want Black folks to be proud of what they have achieved and accomplished in this evil system of white supremacy. Whites wave a ton of flags but there is a reason most people have an issue with the Confederate flag. Because it's the face of white supremacy and white supremacy logic. Come on Elle, you know this, why you trying to play both sides.

I always find it funny you say you call out "your c00ns" when you never stopped to look in the mirror at the biggest one you know.

You have a lot more in common with Kanye, Jesse Lee, Candace, and Larry Elder than you think you do.

Harvey World to Dallas, TX
they want that seat next to white daddy is all it boils down to

What's with the hatred towards Africans from these movements?

Like... are they the enemy?

sounds like Heaven to me :blessed:

I have, a lot. That's Boule/Jack & Jill/ and well to do Caribbean and African central. Then you got the regular Black folks. Some 1st gen, some 2nd, some from the South, the North, some 1st gen of their lineage to go to college, some underachievers, some overachievers. You got a mix of everything Black there.

you got a link breh

Tariq also been posting on all of his platforms about a black man in Texas that was lynched. It’s come out that the man was Mexican yet Tariq still running with it.

It’s more important that he gets attention than accuracy

Here you go with ADOS is a white supremacist front. Who said ADOS? I specifically said black Americans. And you know I’m right.

I don't have a link, just personal experiences. Howard is cool but I would choose Morehouse or if I was a female Spellman if I was going private then Fisk. NCA&T is the best. My breh @Old Scott Hall the kang went there and that's an excellent breh.
