That's a smart move by Frank's manager. The decision might not be due to him being gay, but the controversy is a good thing.
There's no way Target could have thought their affiliation with anti-gay groups wouldn't be mentioned. They should have ordered a small amount of copies to save face. Even if they lost money, its better than the negative attention.

... well there goes the last remaining doubt I had that him announcing he was gay a couple days before the album dropped was (in part) a publicity stunt....his manager trying to make him some kind of gay martyr out of some retailer's last ditch effort to protect the brick and mortar business model...can't say it wasn't wildly successful though, it's made him a media darling and no doubt has helped with the hype for the project and prolly has something to do with the love affair and fawning from certain super liberal hipster circles (pitchfork pretty much claims his album is one of the greatest in the history of recorded media)50 Cent.....take notes sir, you know what you have to do
