Dude got dough for retirement. He made his mark with quality work.

I still shocked that more weren't feeling Hateful 8. That's ish was damn near a masterpiece. It could've been a stage play

ADD cats, man.

There were only 2 main settings and it was dialog heavy. Cats want action and explosions.

That scene was pretty cool though

For the most part that whole movie was a jumbled mess

The movie was amazing for what it was supposed to be.

A theatrical experience and a throwback to old chase films. Quinten restoring the feeling of the times we would yell and cheer in the theatre.

Quinten was director of photography as well

he's really good at resurrecting old styles and reinterpreting them in his own way but i can't say any script he's released and wrote is really my favorite or even timeless (however, it's hard to judge that at this point, maybe in another decade). nevertheless, he's had an amazing run and i'm so happy i was able to work in one of his films and see him in action. he's a excellent student of past cinematography styles and ideas so for that, i'm grateful. just looking at his reinterpretations made me think a lot about what makes a movie feel like it's from a certain time period
