The majority of actors/actresses aren't making as much money out here for roles as people think. The majority also don't have the leverage to negotiate a higher pay for what they think that they are "worth." Chadwick Boseman should be the prime example of that. Was in multiple Marvel movies yet still passed with a net worth of less than a $1 million dollars.

Just because you were in previous movies doesn't mean you can walk in the room and demand such and such amount.

Ehh Robert Downey Jr is a different case.

Dude was liability at that the time, so he wasn't in a situation where he could "ask for the world." He was smart in negotiating his pay based on a percentage of the profits. If Marvel knew now what they knew then, they would have never agreed to that type of deal with him. Marvel wasn't stupid and didn't repeat that same mistake with other actors/actresses.

Being good in a movie doesn't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things if you don't have the longevity or leverage to ask or demand what you're worth. A lot of actors/actresses are good to even great in movies, but it doesn't mean that they are making loads of bread for their roles.

If she only made $40,000 for Benjamin Button, then you could only imagine how much other people are making out here for the movies that they do.

Stephen Amell was lead in Arrow and other cast members made more than him per episode until later seasons.
