The offense scored 20 points against a bad defense missing 3 starters. And got shut down in the 2nd half

Packers and Eagles both up 30+ against the Bears and Vikings defenses'

Maybe I'll start taking them seriously if they go 4-2. But Baker has shown who he is. I don't trust that guy

My whole mentality is if this was last years team, they would've lost both of these games

I'm also fine if we miss out on Caleb Williams as long as we get Shedeur Sanders instead. But if Baker keeps playing like he is, then he's going to get a contract instead.

He’s exceeded expectations but I wouldn’t go crazy just yet. He also won’t have Mike next year.

There's no doubt that the front office will give Baker a contract if he keeps playing well. It's on him whether or not he keeps playing like he does. And like I said earlier in the thread, I wouldn't be surprise if they re-sign Mike in the offseason once the cap situation gets better with Brady's salary off the books.

One thing that's available this year that wasn't last is the QB's ability to do something positive if protection breaks down. It's an advantage.

Even if we go 9-8 or 8-9, I think Jason Licht would trade up in the draft to take a QB regardless. But just enjoy the Ws because this team is at least a lot more fun to watch than the dog shyt last year
