Also something tells me Bowles going for that 4th down and getting it won't get any love from the analytics types who hate him. Even when he does what they want, they ignore it.

I've realized Baker is getting at least another 2-3 years a few weeks ago. I'm whatever about it. If he keeps playing better, then it's cool. I just want to keep Mike, LVD, AWJ and Wirfs. I think we'll still draft a QB this offseason though.

I’m not content with having a limited QB as the guy cuz it’s going to take prolly two years of world class drafting and free agency to turn us into contenders. I’m not asking for us to be the 49ers, but we will need at least an Eagles/Dallas tier roster to at least bring us close if Baker is gonna start for the next 3 years
We need a premier edge rusher very badly and we are going to be in prime position in the draft. If one of the sleeper QBs falls to the back of the 1st round/early 2nd I think we should trade up to get him
His value was below that on the market
With an expiring contract, White practically wasn’t an asset for any team by that point
