i was gonna say she was but in the last 10 years i'd say teedra has been and only because of that debut album. that debut of teedra's was better than all of tamia's last few albums ("more, "between friends", and "beautiful surprise") of the last 10 years. now, that isn't to say that tamia's album haven't been great because they have been but they weren't as great as teedra's complex simplicity album
but tamia is one of my favorite singers. i love me some hershe was holdin' down in the late 90's for r&b to me. i remember i had the single (in addition to the albums) cd for "imagination" and the remix acapella versions too; great times, bruh. great times
and who could forget this classic?!
So Into You was her illest shyt and Fab ruined it wit the release of the single...her original song was MUCH better...also..ironically..the album version of Fab's remake was better than the radio version..which is funny cause the album version didnt even have Tamia..it was Ashanti...but it was more like Tamia's original song than the version he put Tamia on...
