you're right on your middles class comments.

so you and vic have arguments with yourself about whether you're black or not? :heh:

all i hear is criticism what are the solutions?

I think that's the only rational way to look at it.

Essentially, yes.

The solution for... more context needed.

Nah it's either D23 and HP
I'm doing little independent research right now. What income range would you characterize the middle class by

In LA it looks like it ranges from 55k-105k...

North of 80 per person, idk about a family. a lot though... 250-500 ?

I spend nearly 25 on rent not including services...

yeah theres like a 4% chance he does.

:heh:

If I made that much a year I probably wouldn't live in Merica'

I did pretty well the last time I lived in the city, I just moved back here full time a couple months ago.

If you're a single gentlemen you can have a nice car and flat if you clear 60 a year.

Granted I have no debt or expenses other than my apartment essentially.
Most of my income doesn't come from my paycheck if/when I get one.

I'm searching by household income, sohh I take several sources of income into a account. shyt is cray :mindblown:

The correlation between better schools, neighborhoods, and income looks visibly apparent. :wow:

If you made less you wouldn't be able to have any savings...
Very much so. idk about the public schools in Manhattan, but idk if I would send my kids to the majority of the ones in Brooklyn and Queens.
I did a lot of research on schools a few year ago and the majority were "F" schools. Obviously but not always in the city the wealthier the zip code/school zone the better the school but there's a lot of other factors that are hidden projects/shelters/special needs students/esl, etc.
When you're in nicer areas it's very apparent, you not only see it but you feel it.

Yeah bro, this shyt is deep. I mean this "literally" is common knowledge. But I'm still kind of shook from reading that UCB article about the kid from South LA whom had a 4.0 in High School, but was struggling like crazy just to maintain a 2.0 in while in college.

Obviously breh struggling was a clear indication of being under prepared going into higher learning. But it also showcases how much most urban youth are at a disadvantage, when trying to succeed in academia...

See I grew up in suburban Harrisburg, PA and you could probably support a family of 3 on 80. if you had 2 parents working you could support a suburban family of 4 for about a 100 a year between them (probably would cost more than that). but still they you could manage a decent life and have some land.

now that I live in north jersey its ridiculous. it's all about location. NYC real estate is the most coveted in the world.

anyways i'm trying to watch this movie this chick is probably pissed I'm on my phone. she might leave so maybe I'll continue the conversation. take it easy guys.

college isn't that hard. yeah you have to apply yourself but it's not bad. the problem is you get tempted to go out and party instead of actually applying yourself.

Bro did read you the article? The kid wasn't out there partying, not trying to apply himself. He trying hard as heck, and still barely pulled off a 2.0.

I did read the article. what's his major? i didn't find college that hard. I mean it's a step up but it's not like this kid describes it. the problem was high school came easy to me and I learned a lesson my first year of college.

Didn't say his major.
Obviously high school came easy for breh too, if he had 4.0...
I'm sure most people have to adjust to the first year of college
The problem is what if this kid decided to drop out, and doubted his ability to succeed from the first year alone, or simply didn't meet the 2.0 mark...

And many cases like this happen. And how can they be avoided...
