Your budget is 1k why the fukk would waste it on a brand like Hisense?!

There should be plenty of interesting deals at that price range for black friday, especially if you don't want an OLED.

And even then, imo you should still buy an OLED. Burn-ins are not really an issue anymore.

$1K Canadian is like $650 US.

I saw a lot of tvs at best buy for cheap, the reviews were weak.

I got the 75 inch U6 and it was 800$ when I got it. It's one of the best TV's I've ever had (had a bunch of mid level Samsungs, top level Sonys, few Vizios).

Hisense is a very high quality brand for cheap. 3 out of my 6-7 Samsungs all broke in less than 2 years. I'll never but another mid level Samsung again. Them bytches are garbage.

Unless you watch the news all day, burn in won’t be an issue.

Also I’m sure it’s the case with other brands but my LG will go into standby after not being used for a few minutes where it’s just a black screen with fireworks every couple of seconds.

That way you won’t ever have to fear burn in if you leave Netflix or any streaming service idle.

I'm leaning towards the Sony x90L. The TCL QM7 (good value, but even my current TCL is slow moving through menus while my Sony is still quick). TCL has a vibrant picture though, while Sony is more realistic but not as bright. Still, Sony is the better quality.

If I can fit a 65 inch in I may look at the TCL QM8. LG no point unless it's OLED and Samsung I was looking at the Q80D. although the Sony is slightly better.

I just don't rust hisense rliability and the materials look cheap (even cheaper than the TCL)..
shyt I heard Hisense always last 6+ years, it's the only reason why I chose it over the other similar TV's when I bought the U6.

I got a thing for how smooth motion looks on TV's, I think the Hisense U6 is absolutely better than the TCL of the same price range. Colors and motion looks a lot better imo.

Budget tvs have come a long way.

Most of them are good enough unless you really gone be up close squinting at the tv.

The most important thing to consider is brightness. If this is a tv in a well lit room you may want to spend more on a tv that gets brighter otherwise save your money and don’t listen to internet snobby nikkas :manny:
