Galatians 3:28:

There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.

^ according to the Bible this is what Christians should follow.

He who is without sin cast the first stone" is a phrase from the Bible, specifically John 8:7, where Jesus says this to a group of people trying to stone a woman caught in adultery, essentially meaning that only someone completely without sin has the right to judge her and condemn her.

^ what Jesus taught. The taliban would’ve killed her just for not wearing a hijab let alone something like Adultery :manny:

i wouldn’t lump in followers of Jesus with other religions under the umbrella of “Abrahamic Religions” :hubie:
Timothy 2:12 : “I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.

Leviticus 15:20 : "And everything on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean. Everything also on which she sits shall be unclean."

ALL ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS OPPRESS WOMEN AT THEIR CORE

Stop deifying scripture written by man.

Especially when you obviously dont understand the context and aren’t posting entire books and chapters to give the entire story

Nonetheless…..

Neither of those quotes above are the words of Jesus. Try again :youngsabo:

He didn’t write anything down.

But you choose a random verse from Timothy to represent Christianity :heh:

Quote Jesus Breh.

I could understand if this was a verse from the Quran or Muhammad which is supposed to be taken as the word of God verbatim in Islam

But this isn't the case for the New Testament books who writers were documenting history and figuring things out as they went along.

They were sinners like you and me and what they did shouldn’t be taken as “gospel” but learned from in the context of the time, place and climate they lived

Christians across the board believe Jesus didn’t sin.

So Jesus wouldn’t oppress women.

You can’t live like Jesus and oppress women.

Christianity as a faith practiced right wouldn’t oppress women.

Now the question is do you believe Jesus was sinless? :jbhmm:

Exactly
Paul was writing a letter to a church where women were out of hand

Very far. America loves women working, it allows for more money going into the economy. And women spend more than men.

It doesnt think women should vote or decide whether to keep a pregnany or not..
The Christian far right is no different to the Islamists, we say that here all the time because the paralells are so glaring.
