Nah, the tarrytown rangers were a gang that were in Gary and soutside chi. I am unaware of an affiliation with terror town or if perhaps they became terror town. See the Chicago tribune article from 1969 here:

GARY YOUTH IS SHOT TO DEATH; HOLD SUSPECT (September 4, 1969)

(the article may be highlighted, middle of the page)

That was the Tarrytown rangers I was referring to. It is unlikely there is some how also a terrortown rangers that has no affiliation so close, but i defer to your first hand knowledge whether they were the same or different.

You were referencing another total different area than where I was.

When people used to say the town, they used to mean and only mean terror town.
Now, the town could be anywhere from how diverse slang is.
Yet, from where I am from anyone saying the town means terror town exclusively.

Or they would ask specifically after that.
where and what town they were talking about.

So, your shyt hopefully checks out cause you supplied what's to it.
I, think cause I have not checked your link just yet.

Tales spin had the dope first eps of a cartoon ever
That whole kit being a pirate, baloo rtc classic

That was an emotional 4 parter start to a series :to:

Baloo playing the role of an adopted daddy to Kit hits my childhood hard.

Soooo sad they never had a 2nd season or had an animated movie to finish the series properly.

Disney Afternoon was the GOAT..... :mjcry: Gargoyles was my shyt, you know disney was batting a million when they made that shyt...

I got a whole interesting story on why Disney made Gargoyles. It had to do with the pressure of Batman: TAS and X Men and the then-upcoming Spider-Man TAS.

Basically, from 92 when Batman came on, The Disney Afternoon got their asses handed to them ratings wise. Even worse, Goof Troop wasn't as a hard hitting show like Duck Tales, Tale Spin, and Darkwing Duck was. That forced Disney to recollaborate with Greg Weisman, to make a series for older kids that were growing out of that traditional Disney phase and it's long time characters.

They basically went to overtime in Fall of 93 when Bonkers came on and was lukewarm even more than Goof Troop. Disney knew that whatever Weisman was coming up with, had to hit the mark or else The Disney Afternoon was DONE!

So Disney hit the mark with Aladdin and Gargoyles in Fall of 1994 to end that kiddie stigma that was hurting it's image, why also why during the Disney animated Renaissance of the 90s, they released The Lion King that summer.

GARGOYLES came and was among the best story telling of virtually any animated show of the 90s.

Yeah, just 1 season of 65 episodes. That was the standard back in the day for all Disney Afternoon shows. Some shows like Darkwing Duck had 91 episodes and Duck Tales had 100 episodes.

If Tale Spin had a 2nd season, it would have been GOAT to build off from those story lines back then.

I read somewhere that if they made a second season, it would be more Content story wise and it would lead to the Second Great War, like how the backdrop of the 1st Great War was always mentioned, kinda like WWI and WWII.
