With everything going on with “budget cuts,” got me thinking of wrestlers they had opportunities to build and failed over the decades.
Braun - coulda been a dominant hoss, but dude turned into a comedy act.
Elias - dude was over for a moment, then he disappeared into oblivion. (Not a fan of him, but he coulda been a solid midcard/upper midcard guy.)
Balor - the Demon thing was over. He still might have a chance now.
Authors of Pain - great tag team. They were instantly dumbed down when they were called up. Injuries may have contributed to what happened.
