I don’t even think about Rockstar as an active developer/publisher anymore. They release games so infrequently and at this point they’re only making two franchises its hard to think about them in regards to whatever else is dropping. They’re basically like the console version of Valve

That 175 is why they told Dan to kick rocks. Or maybe he noticed that singleplayer was not the spearhead of the company anymore and got outta dodge. Regardless, him leaving is the canary in the coal mine for Rockstar's future focus.
