Shawn was working with a 7+ year younger Taker who could actually do the initial jump to make it work. They didn't time the original "help jump" correctly and Roman wasn't strong or long () enough to power him up. They should have just accepted the botch, fell to the ground, and just let Roman just pick him up for the tombstone the normal way.

Roman is not an all time worker but Taker was largely (like 85+%) responsible for the worst match of his career last year.

The Big Dog is a powerhouse wrestler that does almost no actual power spots. Classic case of Vince loving optics over actual ability. I bet Rollins is stronger pound for pound.
