Are the conditions in white impoverished areas the same or worse than those in Black impoverished areas?
I don’t know, Im not in or near poor white areas, most impoverished white areas are rural areas and/or in white states I don’t frequent. I do know when I look at the rural poor of any color, that shyt looks worse that being poor in a city/suburb :ld:

edit: only truly hood/poor white neighborhood i been in was when i lived in philly and shyt looked as burnt out and destitute as the black philly hood

I didn't ask that for that reason. I asked for the following:

1) conditions that create elements of violence

2) the loyalty to reach back to those conditions due to the fact they still have family there, want to help people escape the same conditions or show them something better

3) education

Just curious if someone can explain to me how Takeoff's murder is rap's fault?

A lot of young people are making money in a lot of other genres of music and none of them are getting murdered.
A lot of young black men are making money as famous athletes, streamers, social media stars, etc and none of them are being murdered.
So what is it about rap that’s leading to the death of all these talented young black men? There’s not an easy answer but it’s a question that needs to be explored when rap is the common denominator.

This has absolutely nothing to do with rap music. It has everything to do with how black men view and treat each other.

Which has predated hip hop for decades. This goes back to post willie lynch America. We got too much agression and venom for one another.

Thats why situations identical to this has been happening in Everyhood, America since the 60s and 70s.

Too many nikkas in one space cooling, partying, drinking, smoking, shooting dice. Add in women, liquor, drugs, ego in the mix and shyt goes left.

RIP to Takeoff. Completely senseless and unnecessary act of violence.

Left the gym this morning and my girl gave me the news. I couldnt believe it and still cant. From the sounds of it he lost his life over nothing. Sad day for real for hiphop. Cant deny the impact that the migos had in this era

2) the loyalty to reach back to those conditions due to the fact they still have family there, want to help people escape the same conditions or show them something better

3) education
1 - conditions for violence are the same, drugs, scarcity of opportunity, poor self esteem

2 - is dependent on individuals, and how that's executed varies wildly

3 - they are equally uneducated

4 - they own lots of guns too

honestly, not sure where this conversation is even going at this point. the black community has a problem, and rappers usually revel in that element and those problems. this conversation doesn't need to meander beyond that - show me 5-6 white notable artists who have met the same fate over the past 24 months and i'll gladly change my tune

But what did rap have to do with Takeoff getting killed though? :francis:

This had nothing to do with rap. A lot of these rappers who are killed are not killed because of rap

Yeah, it sounds like breh was stressed after losing money.

It may seem like a playful jab but when you're that stressed, combined with being exhausted (they've been promoting that album) and people pop jokes that's an ingredient to have someone behave more irrationally than their baseline.
Late night, people high off substances, adrenaline, money and ego. Plus females were watching...........
It's only takes but 30 seconds.
People would be surprised how fast it goes down.

I always wonder why this logic stops at Rap music and no other entertainment mediums.

This is the past weeks movie charts; violence, body horror, damn near demonic shyt (Terrifier 2, particlar)

None of the stars of these films would get the receptions rappers get. Espceially since we still don't know what happened.

So far; he was at a private Halloween party and ppl started shooting. But, he deserved it because he makes Rap music??????

I get what ya'll arguing against, but, it's such an extreme stance to take.

Man you know it’s different.

This rap shyt is toxic and we all know it and movies are FAKE. Actors aren’t out pretending they are the characters they play in movies and inviting a lifestyle of violence.

Exactly.

Dude was surrounded by stressors and most likely battling exhaustion.

When people aren't sleep deprived and a challenging task comes up, this is their inner dialogue:
"shyt, well I'll just get at this later. Pretty sure I can knock it down with some more time."

vs when same exact person, same exact challenge when sleep-deprived their inner-dialogue is more along the lines of:
"I fukking suck at this. I'll never get this done."

When folks are stressed their inner dialogue and willpower to hold back from thinking irrationally is severely hindered. You'll trip/snap and you'll trip/snap hard.

Then like you said, throw in all those other stressors and it leads to some really bad decision making that you'd otherwise have a clear head for.

Lack of sleep, hunger, substances, etc. are all nasty things to complicate your day with. Your ego already tripping off the lack of sleep and exhaustion, all the other shyt and those events really puts it right to the next level.
