take two out here gang banging on some sesame street shyt. smh i wonder if rockstar even cares about this. although looking into it, Take Two did this with the videogame It Takes Two as well. I think they're trying to make sure no one profits off the likeness in general.

I guess it'd be like making your own lemonade and trying to own the ingredients when you bought them all from Publix. Somebody else was already making stuff with it so you can't really say its yours. Remedy might not be able to trademark until they have made a bigger impact on the industry than Rockstar.

Recently, Remedy handed a brief statement to Eurogamer that should help put the situation to bed:

"There is nothing to see here – this was a discussion between our teams that was resolved entirely and amicably late last year.

Unfortunately, it took a little longer to complete than we had hoped due to some holiday scheduling.

The legal filing was simply an initial formality, and Remedy and Take-Two continue to work together in partnership."
