Photo aside, can someone explain to me why Beyonce is so idolized by women (as opposed to other singers)? She strikes me as really unintelligent and basic (with shrewd handlers /PR), yet you have the media and many women proclaiming her as some kind of black feminist revolutionary.
Her PR team is top notch, she's been well known and successful for over 15 years, and she has the major "Diva" following she gets from gay people and women.

I don't get it either. You can't even say anything about the woman without being deemed a hater. I just don't get why she's so appealing. Her personality seems non existent, I don't like her singing voice (please note the I, I never said she can't sing, I don't particularly like it though), and she doesn't seem to be the smartest person. That's expected though, she barely went to school have you heard her interviews? She's manufactured success. This is all she knows, so I don't expect her to be anything but a product of the industry. To me she's void of any likability. She is pretty though, but there are better looking entertainers IMO that don't get the same shine as her either. I just don't understand.
