Taco Bell low key one of my favorite fast food spots. Been getting the same thing for over 3 decades. Satisfied every time.

That's the thing. It has gotten to the point where you're just better of going to a genuine restaurant. Not in NYC now but I imagine its worse there.
You might as well go to a halal cart or to a bodega and order a chopped cheese instead.Aside from “convenience” fast food here is a joke on the strength of these prices. Pull up to McDonald’s for a quarter pounder meal and that shít running you 10-12 bucks easily. It’s the same deal at other fast food spots

If you live near a Costco the 5 dollar rotisserie chicken is worth the price of the membership alone Costco food isFar more value if you go to the right halal cart. Get that lamb over rice + some chopped up pita bread and if the dude rock with you he’ll toss in a falafel or two.
And you get a drink with it for like $7-9. I used to go to one on 48th and 6th and that shít was crack. Meanwhile folks (i.e., CACs) were lining up for wack ass Halal Guys like they were selling Jordans for $5

Speaking of which @Michael's Black Son what are the food prices for groceries at stores like Key Food charging for a tray with baked chicken? It's usually 5 or so bucks for a couple of thigh and maybe a leg with some corn on the side. What's current inflation price? If you live near a Costco the 5 dollar rotisserie chicken is worth the price of the membership alone Costco food is
You could've done best of both worlds, went and picked up the tacos plain, then fancied them up with your own stuff.not really, those are just ingredients i keep in stock. and i had just went shopping so i usually food prep after that, that's why the beef was thawed and the cheese got shredded
but before then i didn't have food in the house for a few days and got used to eating out so the drive through was calling me still... yall know how that goes

I was bout to say, Taco Bell ain’t hardly real foodi mean everywhere is price gouging, but no meat is the key to the lower costs. rice and beans and a flower tortilla the cheapest ingredients on earth.
even stuff with meat at TB has like 90% soy, i say this as a former employee who used to pull the "beef" out the freezer
