Fx took the crown about 4 years ago breh. HBO has been looking real funny in the light.

well i said this before i saw the thread from yesterday about HBO's troubles with ratings and being uncertain of where to go. the article stated their last breakout drama hit was Thrones in 2011.

whereas FX has put out Fargo, The Americans, had Justified, OJ Simpson, Louie, AHS etc

granted the first 2 of those aren't very highly rated but are critical darlings. and FX is just doing more interesting things

i do watch thrones, and love The leftovers (at least s2) and silicon valley, but what really will HBO have once thrones is done? I am lookin forward to Westworld though. and Utopia remake if it ever comes out

ahh ok yea i feel ya....but just as far as shows i watch goes, i still put hbo over fx. I only watch fargo, the americans (sorta, kinda stopped watching last season), and the oj simpson show. I agree tho about hbo after thrones but shyt ppl prolly said the same thing after the sopranos went off

Hopefully any Ridley Scott bullshyt is kept to a minimum, this is very much a 'Heart of Darkness', Joseph Conrad, type of story, the corruption and brutality, and imperialsm, it's consequences....The East India Trading company ravaged Africa and other nations, greatly contributed to the Middle East chaos.....Hardy seems to be a former East India man, who comes home, to seek revenge on his employers.
