:francis:My highschool years, bruh. You know how many songs I thought were bullshyt then...I listen to regularly now???

Bruh I was listening to Bhris Brown "Forever" yesterday and realized I knew every word.

There are lots more....this mumble rap, drag addict shyt thats on the radio now...and trap RnB shyt...bruh do yourself a favor and just look at the top billboard hits from those years and
the shyt might bring a tear to your eyes. I was losing my shyt when I looked at the top hits for the years 03-10.

No. mid 2000s are still the wackest era in rap, it’s just that the 2015- now is close on its heels so it’s making it look a little better.. mid 2000s still the WOAT for now

TBH, when I get all nostalgic, 99% of the time it is NOT for the rap of the mid 2000's unless its Kanye, Lupe, or TI. I favor the pop, rock, and RnB of the era. Rap has been basura for ages.
The trash outweighs the goodies.

Yeah. The mid 2000s had those artist you mentioned but the amount of pure trash like laffy taffy, crank dat etc being huge charging singles was just wack as hell. The mumble rap era is trying its best to take the crown. It sucks because 2010-2014 was a breath of fresh air with cole Kendrick krit etc coming in the game. Feels like hip hop lost that momentum

Yup. Don't get me wrong, there were gems in the 2000's...but lets be real, when Ringtones became a super revenue stream thanks to razr phones, EVERYBODY dropped wack ass music
that sounded good in a snippet, but awful when you hear the whole song.

This is why i'm hot. Enough said.
