So from the sounds of things, it sounds like Kobe is just mixing up dates/location etc. And I do remember that magazine article back in the day. Antoine Walker was there too if I remember correctly. Unfortunately I don't have that magazine now. Someone that has it should post it up.
Remember T-mac never says "I never played Kobe", or "I never lost to Kobe"....All he says is "I never went to Germany with him". And T-mac also deleted his tweet. Dude sounds fishy.....

Mcgrady is quoted as saying more than "I never went to Germany with him". He is also quoted as saying "Hell no! That's far from the truth. No one in the NBA is playing 1on1." in reference to what Kobe said. It doesn't really sound like a case of mixed up dates, somebody is lying. I'm going off the basis of remembering the magazine (and others here have mentioned they have seen where T-Mac mentioned it) and what Kobe says and what T-macs response is.
Why would Kobe give a detailed description of something that never happened? It just doesn't sound like he would make something up so detailed in terms of who he played, when it happened, where, what type of camp etc... which pretty much sounds close enough when you add it all up. If I had to believe one of these guys stories, it would be Kobe's.

SLAM website ran the kobe comments and McGradys denial . You would think if they had an interview from McGrady back in the early 2000's cosigning Kobe's story they would have said something aabout it.
