There's certain rappers who I just ignore as if their new music doesn't exist. Snoop, Busta, etc.
Tip fell in that category around the time he released the album with "Live Your Life" as a single.

I don't recall talking about the quality of the music, breh, I just said that there are certain people whose music I pretty much pretend doesn't exist, and somewhere down the line T.I. became one of them.
I can't put my finger on why, but I can put my finger on when.
He just got out for the gun shyt, and was going through a public image problem, so dropped that "I'm a changed, family man" album Paper Trail. Doing "grown man, I'm not a trapper I'm a businessman" music, then I think he dropped a mixtape a little while after talking about guns and trapping again and the combination of that made me wash my hands of the whole thing. I haven't heard more than 5 new T.I. songs since.
The Blue Carpet Treatment was the last Snoop album I listened too.
Once I realized he wasn't exactly the best rapper, and then the quality of the music/songs/production took a dip, I bounced.
To me, Snoop is some kind of public figure now instead of a rapper. Like some kind of ambassador.
