The right is trying to create racial animosity in the country to the extent that even moderate cacs fall in line for Trump. The man was on the verge of getting wiped out by Biden, so they had to start manufacturing cultural flare ups around the country to get their base worked up. Remember the salon owner story from a few weeks ago was manufactured by the Tea Party who were concerned about the lack of voting enthusiasm on the right. This is their gameplan.

Last i recall, Biden had just fukked himself with a series off gaffes pissing off his base. Meanwhile, trump's base was well managed, ie, the story about the salon owner you mentioned.

My man has a theory that this is coming from a faction within the left. If you note, aside from mpls, a list of burning cities would overlap quite nicely with a list of cities/ states who had been begging for another round of stimulus to support the commercial real estate market. Remember? And trump and them were like fukk you for mismanaging your money prior, we ain't giving yall blue states shyt. Well, he thinks this is the response.

I like his theory bc it would explain why police are more or less standing down and several mayors actually issued orders telling them to do so. Both groups stand to benefit from a few trillion more in stimulus, mayors get full coffers, police unions would arguefor a bigger cut after the dual tragedies of covid and these riots. It would also explain why wp, initially suspected to be cops, seem to be leading the destruction, with little to no restriction. Damaging business, destroying idle retail space, all that would naturally lead to a need for more stimulus.
